Poly B Plumbing Guys are Western Canada’s only contractor that specializes exclusively in polybutylene pipe replacement. We’re not a general plumbing company that does Poly B on the side — every project we take is a Poly B removal and full home restoration. That focus is why we can offer fixed pricing, predictable timelines, and a single crew that handles plumbing, drywall, ceiling texture, and paint under one quote. Most homeowners who call us have already received a quote from a general plumber that excluded drywall and paint, leaving them to coordinate two or three additional trades on their own. We eliminate that.
re your plumbers actually licensed and Red Seal certified?
Yes. Every plumbing technician on our crew is Red Seal certified — the highest interprovincial trade qualification recognized across Canada. We carry full commercial liability insurance, WCB coverage on all crews, and we’re an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. We pull a municipal plumbing permit on every project and pass a final inspection by the local authority before walls are closed. Documentation for licensing, insurance, and permits is available on request before any work starts.
Where are you based and which areas do you service?
Our head office is in Calgary, Alberta, with dedicated crews and local phone lines serving Calgary and surrounding areas, Central Alberta (Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Lacombe, and rural acreages), Edmonton and surrounding communities, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and Kelowna and the Okanagan. Each region has its own scheduling team and crew — we don’t subcontract to local plumbers, and we don’t ship a Calgary crew across provinces to do BC work. Every region runs its own dedicated operation.
How long has the company been in business?
Poly B Plumbing Guys is a division of Beach’s Quality Drywall Ltd., a long-established Alberta drywall and finishing company. The Poly B division was launched specifically to combine plumbing replacement with the drywall and paint expertise the parent company had already been providing for years. That’s why our restoration finish is consistently better than competitors who hire out drywall and paint to subcontractors — we built the company around the trades most plumbers struggle with after they cut into your walls.

Second, we don’t take a deposit or charge anything until the job is complete and you’re satisfied. Our standing policy: do a great job, get paid when the job is done. Third, you have the protection of full liability insurance, WCB coverage, BBB accreditation, a closed municipal permit on file, and a 25-year manufacturer warranty on the PEX-A pipe we install. If anything goes wrong, you have multiple layers of recourse — not just our handshake.
